Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

  • Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
  • Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in ECE/Child Development/Specific field
Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in relevant fields + 1 year experience
Associate’s degree in relevant field + 2 years experience
Associate’s degree + 30 credits + 3 years experience
