Job summary

The Malvern School in Westtown is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Infant classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, at our West Chester, PA location.

You will design and implement a nurturing program that supports early learning and safety. The ideal candidate holds a degree in early childhood education or a related field, with strong communication with families and a commitment to professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or equivalent.
• 30 credit hours in ECE or related field plus 1 year of experience.
• Associate’s degree in ECE or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE and 3 years of experience.

• Plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program.
• Maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
