24 Seven is seeking an experienced Technical Designer specializing in Infant and Layette to join our team in Lakewood, NJ. This onsite, full-time role focuses on fit, construction, grading, and development.

You will collaborate with design and overseas factories to ensure garments meet standards for fit, quality, and production accuracy, from first sample to bulk production. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, proven ability to lead fit sessions, and comfort managing multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Technical Designer specializing in Infant and Layette apparel.
• Strong knowledge of infant garment construction, fit, grading, and technical specifications.
• Experience working with overseas factories and patternmakers.
• Ability to independently manage fit sessions and communicate technical corrections.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop block specifications based on established size ranges.
• Partner with designers throughout the sample development process to achieve the intended fit and aesthetic.
• Prepare detailed specifications for all stages of development, including first fit, second fit, PP, and shipping samples.
• Independently coordinate and lead fit sessions.
• Communicate fit comments, corrections, and technical revisions clearly to overseas patternmakers.
• Develop grading for costing and pricing purposes.
• Create bulk grading for production.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across technical packages and production specifications.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely execution.
