You will work closely with the design team and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure each garment meets our standards for fit, quality, and production accuracy.

The role emphasizes block specifications, grading, and detailed technical development, with independent fit sessions and clear communication of revisions to patternmakers to support timely production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Technical Designer focusing on Infant & Layette apparel.
• Strong knowledge of infant garment construction, fit, grading and technical specifications.
• Experience working with overseas factories and patternmakers.

Responsibilities

• Develop block specifications based on established size ranges.
• Partner with designers during sample development to achieve intended fit and aesthetic.
• Prepare detailed specifications for all development stages (first fit, second fit, PP, shipping samples).
• Independently coordinate and lead fit sessions.
• Communicate fit comments and technical revisions clearly to overseas patternmakers.
• Develop grading for costing and pricing purposes.
• Create bulk grading for production.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across technical packages and production specs.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely execution.
