Job summary
Perrigo's R&D Technical Services Specialist / Scientist I leads the scale-up and industrialization of infant formula powder and liquid products from development to full-scale production. You will work across Product Development, Pilot Plant, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Planning to ensure successful launches and effective transfer to production.
The role emphasizes quality review, regulatory compliance, factory trials, and driving productivity and cost
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 3–5 years in food, dairy, nutrition, or related product/process development.
- Experience with food manufacturing unit operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the industrialization and scale-up of infant formula products.
- Manage change control activities including BOM updates and documentation.
- Coordinate risk assessments for product launches and changes.
- Review quality and nutrient data to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Transfer technology from development to production, cross-functionally.
- Support factory trials and troubleshooting for commercialization.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost savings, and quality.
