Job summary

Perrigo in Eau Claire, WI is seeking an R&D Technical Services Specialist to lead the scale-up of infant formula powder and liquid products from development through full-scale production. You will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Pilot Plant, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure successful launches and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in food science or engineering, with 3–5 years in product/process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a food/science/engineering field.
• 3–5 years in food, dairy, nutrition, or related product/process development.
• Experience with manufacturing operations, scale-up, or commercialization.
• Experience with food manufacturing unit operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization and scale-up of infant formula powder and liquid products.
• Coordinate change control activities and BOM updates.
• FACILITATE risk assessment for launches and changes.
• Review quality and nutrient data to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer development to production.
• Support factory trials, troubleshooting, and commercialization efforts.
• Identify and address process inefficiencies, quality issues, and losses.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement for productivity and cost savings.
• Evaluate new processes, technologies, and production capabilities.
