Loyola University Medical Center Nursing is seeking a Nutrition Technician to prepare specialty infant formulas and human milk fortifications in an aseptic infant formula room. You will ensure sanitation, perform calculations, and document in the EHR under supervision of a registered dietitian.
Your responsibilities include nutrition screening, education for low-risk patients, and collaboration with dietitians, nurses, physicians, and nurse practitioners.
This position is responsible for following established procedures for preparation of specialty infant, human milk and formulas within an aseptic feeding preparation room in the inpatient clinical setting. The diet technician performs calculations and follow detailed steps for preparation of the special infant formulas as well as ordering, stocking and sanitation in the infant formula preparation room. The diet technician conducts nutrition screening according to the hospital policies and procedures and provides nutrition education to patients under the supervision of the registered dietitian.

Position Requirements:
Hourly Pay Range: $16.70 – $25.53 USD
Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, education, certifications, location, and internal equity.
