Job summary

Sevita’s Small Steps clinic seeks a full‑time Infant Feeding Therapist (SLP) to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to infants with feeding, swallowing, and oral motor needs. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat, collaborating with occupational therapists and lactation providers to deliver coordinated care.

Extensive mentorship and training are provided; you will develop personalized plans, coach caregivers, and monitor progress while contributing to a compassionate, family‑centered care

Qualifications

  • Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure required.
  • Interest in infant feeding, swallowing, and oral motor care.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care.
  • Willingness to participate in specialized infant feeding training.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat infants with feeding, swallowing, and oral motor needs.
  • Complete multidisciplinary feeding evaluations with other therapists.
  • Assess oral motor skills, feeding development, and caregiver concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized feeding treatment plans.
  • Provide direct feeding therapy and caregiver coaching at home.
  • Monitor progress and document findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with families and pediatric providers as a team.
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation and participate in training.
