Merryhill School is seeking an Infant Teacher to provide nurturing care in a safe, stimulating classroom. You will support each infant’s feeding, sleep, and developmental needs while fostering early cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical growth.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, facilitating activities, supervising children, and maintaining a clean environment. Collaboration with colleagues and families is essential for a positive student experience.

Qualifications

• 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education including child development, curriculum, and family/community.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ECE coursework, Child Development Associate credential, associate or bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Plan and facilitate arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and hands-on learning.
• Provide supervision during classroom activities, meals, and transitions.
• Support infants with feeding, potty training, and personal-care routines.
• Communicate with families regarding activities and student development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment.
