Job summary

The Learning Experience in Cheshire, CT is seeking a caring Teacher to join our early education team. You will create a safe, engaging classroom for infants and support families with daily updates and milestones.

The role requires 6 months of childcare experience, preferably an Associate degree in ECE, and a cooperative attitude. We offer benefits, paid training, and opportunities for growth in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support early learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state licensing and safety standards.
