Job summary

The Learning Experience Cheshire, CT is seeking a dedicated Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom for infants and to implement our hands-on LEAP Curriculum to support early learning and development.

You will build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones, and collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive, supportive workplace. This role requires a positive, dependable, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum to support early learning.
• Build strong relationships with families through updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with CT licensing and safety standards.
