YWCA Central MA is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to support classroom programming with a developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive approach. You will help implement activities, supervise children, and communicate with families to promote growth and well-being.

The role requires dedication to safety, inclusivity, and ongoing professional development, including DEEC/QRIS standards. Regular hours, on-site in Worcester, MA, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Willingness to enroll in an Associate ECE degree.
• DEEC qualified preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and maintaining Teaching Strategies Gold.
• Create an inclusive learning environment celebrating diversity.
• Supervise children during play and structured activities.
• Communicate with parents daily about child progress and needs.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain safety and health certifications.
