Children’s Land is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join our warm, team-oriented environment. You will assist in planning engaging, thematic activities and support each child’s development in a safe, nurturing setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication with families, collaboration with staff, and ongoing professional growth within our state-of-the-art facility designed for early learning.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience assisting with teaching in preschool settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Familiarity with childcare regulations and safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating thematic activities.
• Support assessment of each child’s development and tailor curriculum.
• Maintain warm, safe classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Communicate with parents about progress and daily activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Manage classroom resources and ensure materials are ready.
• Monitor children to ensure safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain an effective learning environment.
