Job summary

Children's Land is seeking a compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our family and team-oriented organization. In our welcoming facility, you will support early childhood education from infants to kindergartners through themed learning and engaging activities.

You will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons, assess development, and communicate regularly with parents. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience assisting with teaching children in a preschool or similar setting.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with childcare regulations.
  • Demonstrated empathy and nurturing through strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities that are thematic and engaging.
  • Support assessment of each child's development and tailor curriculum to diverse needs.
  • Maintain a warm, safe classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about children's progress and daily activities.

  • Help manage classroom resources and ensure materials are available and well-maintained.
