We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Infant Classroom Assistant to support our infant program part time with passion and expertise. This role involves assisting with daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, and working alongside a caring team of teachers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education and infant care to help nurture and inspire our children. Will need to be available in the afternoons.

We are looking for a dedicated team member with at least 1–2 years of infant care experience who wants to grow with a warm, supportive school community. (Primrose experience is a major plus!)

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in managing the infant classroom, fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere focused on healthy child development and safety.

• Support daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and engaging activity planning to ensure a nurturing, productive environment.


• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain best practices in infant care, classroom organization, and early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings, with strong caregiving skills. Candidates should have at least one year of experience working in a licensed childcare setting.


• Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
