Primrose School of Naperville Crossings in Naperville, IL is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Infant Classroom. This part-time role offers a warm, nurturing environment and opportunities to support early learning.

You will assist the lead teacher with young infants, help with routines, and participate in ongoing training to grow your childcare skills. A team-focused, compassionate attitude is essential, with CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or early childhood degree preferred.
• Experience working with infants or in childcare is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and health screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants.
• Support daily activities, including feeding, diapering, and playtime.
• Observe and document children's development and behavior.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Primrose School of Naperville Crossings as an Assistant Teacher in the Infant Classroom! This role offers an exciting opportunity to nurture and inspire our youngest learners in a warm and supportive environment.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. (More hours available if desired.)
