Rainbow Child Care Center & Preschool in Roseland, NJ is seeking a warm Infant Caregiver/Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Child Development or ECE a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Background checks as per NJ childcare licensing requirements.
• Prior infant care or childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving daily care for infants including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
• Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate developmental activities and lesson plans.
• Monitor and document infant milestones, behaviors, and daily routines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate openly and professionally with parents and guardians during drop-off and pick-up.
• Follow childcare health, safety, and licensing regulations and protocols.
• Foster social-emotional development through responsive, relationship-based caregiving.
