Job summary

Spring Education Group is seeking an Infant Teacher for Merryhill School to provide nurturing care in a safe, stimulating classroom. You will support each infant's feeding, sleep, and development while fostering early cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical growth.

You will create developmentally appropriate plans, lead activities, supervise meals and play, assist with routines, and partner with families to support each child's progress.

Qualifications

• 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education with coursework in child development, curriculum, and family/community.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification current or willingness to obtain.
• ECE coursework, Child Development Associate credential, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous infant care experience in licensed childcare or preschool settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants.
• Facilitate arts, crafts, games, outdoor play, and hands‑on learning experiences.
• Supervise during classroom activities, meals, and transitions.
• Assist with potty training and other age‑appropriate personal-care routines.
• Encourage language development, independence, and positive peer interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to ensure a consistent student experience.
• Communicate with families about classroom activities and student development.
• Follow all school policies and licensing requirements.
