Job summary

The Grace Beginnings Academy Infant Assistant Teacher is passionate about caring for young learners in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate works collaboratively with the lead teacher and supports each child’s growth in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development.

This role helps implement Christ-centered lessons and activities rooted in play and exploration. Start date is flexible with both part-time and full-time shifts in Eden Prairie, MN.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must meet licensing requirements for an assistant.
• Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer.
• Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom educational experiences as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist in completing daily activity documentation and incident/behavior reports as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with the classroom teacher to support daily routines, classroom management, and the overall learning environment.
• Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, organized classroom, and take responsibility for completing the duties required to keep the facility orderly.
• Assist in prepping learning materials as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Approach behavioral issues that arise with children with Christ-centered love, respect and patience.
• At drop-off or pick-up, foster positive relationships with parents.
• Facilitate the classroom routines and activities when the classroom teacher is absent.
• Attend all required training and staff meetings throughout the year.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
• Maintain licensing compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: Eden Prairie Campus - EDEN PRAIRIE, MN 55347, Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly, Part-time and Full-time positions available

• Monday - Friday: 7:15 am - 12:45 pm (27.5 hrs/wk)
• Monday - Friday: 12:15 pm - 5:45 pm (27.5 hrs/wk)
• Monday - Friday: 7:15 am - 3:45 pm (40 hrs/wk)
• Monday - Friday: 9:15 am - 5:45 pm (40 hrs/wk)

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour (based on education and experience)
