• Position Type: Part Time
• Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Working Hours: 3:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
• School Year: September – May (part‑time)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• The Grace Beginnings Academy Aftercare Assistant Teacher guides and cares for 6-week to 5-year-old children in a Christ‑centered environment.
• Works collaboratively with aftercare staff and supports each child’s growth in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development.
• Assists in implementing the aftercare schedule, including free play, outside time, activities, and care for each child.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with other aftercare staff.
• Approaches behavioral issues with Christ‑centered love, respect, and patience.
• Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Maintains licensing compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: 16 years or older, high‑school diploma or credits.

• Commitment to prayer through corporate and personal practice.
