This role involves assisting with instruction, student supervision, and individualized support to promote academic and developmental growth.**Key Responsibilities:*** Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.* Provide individualized assistance to students based on their learning needs.* Assist students with mobility, self-care, and daily routines.* Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.* Supervise students during transitions, mealtimes, and recess.* Maintain classroom organization, ensuring materials and equipment are accessible.* Reinforce positive behavior and provide guidance based on school policies.* Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as necessary.* Prepare and set up learning materials for classroom instruction.## Qualifications* + **Education:** Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field. + **Experience:** Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting. + **Skills:** Patience, adaptability, strong communication, and a passion for supporting children with disabilities. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to lift a minimum of **40 lbs** to assist students with mobility and classroom needs. + Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage with students throughout the day.
