BrightPath Kids in Aurora, Ohio is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join our caring team. You’ll support teachers, help supervise children age 6 weeks to 12 years, and help create a warm, safe classroom environment. No classroom experience?

We provide paid training on classroom procedures and ongoing development, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and excellent customer service. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits including a childcare discount, health coverage, and paid time

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm, clean environment that encourages growth and exploration.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
