Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Aurora, Ohio is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support teachers and families, providing a warm home away from home for children in our care. You will help supervise, assist with instruction, and maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.

What will you be doing?

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
