Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking an Assistant Teacher to work with teachers and families, providing a home away from home for children in our care, following NAEYC guidelines.

You will support instruction, ensure safety and cleanliness, decorate classrooms as needed, foster growth, and communicate with parents to keep them informed about their child's day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?
