Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with industry standard fabrication tools and equipment.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience reading engineering drawings preferred.
• Welding experience preferred (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts to meet requirements per engineering and management.
• Cut, shape metal, bend tubing, weld MIG and TIG, use fabrication equipment.
• Assist team members in Fabrication area.
• Document routines and measurements for repeatable processes.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality control to improve speed and accuracy.
• Prepare items for painting or wrapping; sand, fill, and finish joints.
• Operate grinders and fabrication equipment with PPE.
• Maintain work area and equipment safety.
• Quality review to meet Team Penske standards.
• Travel as needed for racetrack and other events.
• Repair vehicles and composite panels.
• Label parts with serial numbers and identifiers.
