Job summary

Pinterest is hiring for a senior role overseeing industry associations, speaking engagements and large-scale event programs across the U.S. and Canada. You will manage memberships, coordinate executive speaking opportunities, and partner with Sales, Marketing and Comms to maximize impact.

You will drive strategy, program development and measurement, ensuring high-quality, AI-supported research and reporting while maintaining data integrity. Travel to key events is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in integrated marketing, industry relations, communications or event marketing.
• Experience sourcing and shaping speaking opportunities at major industry events.
• Experience managing industry association memberships and evaluating their value.
• Experience preparing spokespeople and executives for stage moments with cross-team collaboration.
• Experience leading the end-to-end delivery of events and activations across multiple moments.
• Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders, including Sales leadership.
• Experience using AI to accelerate research, briefing and reporting with quality controls.
• Demonstrated integrity and ownership; protect sensitive data and avoid AI over-reliance.
• Willingness to travel for key industry events and client moments.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pinterest's day-to-day contact for key industry associations and lead memberships.
• Know the industry associations inside-out and optimize value of each relationship.
• Partner with Sales leadership to ensure membership benefits are used and valued.
• Inform speakership strategy and lead execution at major industry moments (CES, POSSIBLE).
• Develop programming for Pinterest's owned and industry events across the U.S. and Canada.
• Support agency events and large client moments with executive panels.
• Prepare spokespeople with briefs, talking points, and narratives.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Comms to prioritize high-impact opportunities.
• Track value of memberships, events, and speaking engagements; advise on exits when needed.
• Leverage AI to accelerate research, briefing and reporting with strong quality checks.
