Job summary

Accenture is seeking a knowledge engineering leader in California to drive industry digital‑brain delivery across client engagements. You will design ontologies and knowledge graphs, baselines, and data taxonomies, while guiding lifecycle updates for ongoing industry engines.

The role requires 5+ years in relevant data work, 2+ years in domain experience (insurance/communications & media/retail), and 2+ years of team leadership within agile or consulting settings. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in knowledge engineering, data modeling, or industry data work, with at least 1–2 years on AI/LLM‑based work.
• Minimum of 2 years of domain experience in insurance, communications & media, or retail — at an operator, an analyst firm, or a consulting practice serving the industry.
• Working fluency with knowledge‑graph technologies and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Minimum of 2 years leading a team or workstream within a larger program.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• At the Manager grade you lead industry digital‑brain delivery on a client engagement: discovery and baseline of industry‑specific patterns, ontology design and build (Knowledge Graph and Data Taxonomy, in skill terms), and the lifecycle management that keeps an industry engine current.
• At the Senior Manager grade you hold authority across engagements in the vertical. We assess that fit at interview, not at requisition.
