Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia is seeking an Industry Development Specialist to lead Transportation and Logistics CTE programs across high schools. You will partner with schools, industry, and postsecondary partners to align programs with labor market needs and equity goals.

Provides guidance, technical services and support to all like CTE programs throughout the District to ensure equity in the quality, capacity, and access to all CTE students.Essential FunctionsMonitors CTE programs to ensure implementation fidelity.Organizes and conducts regular on-site CTE programmatic evaluations/observations.Provides technical assistance to industry specific Career and Technical Education programs in CTE high schools and CTE programs in non-CTE high schools.Plans, develops and implements innovative programs in alignment with emerging high priority occupations (regional, state and federal) in order to provide a meaningful educational opportunity.Analyzes the labor market and stays abreast of new and emerging developments;
