Job summary

William Blair, a premier global partnership, seeks a sell-side Research Associate for the Industrials sector. You will support fundamental research, build and update financial models, and prepare reports, notes, and presentations for clients and investment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• CFA, CPA, or technical designation preferred.
• 2–5 years of related investment research experience required.
• SIE Exam, Series 7, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87 required within first 180 days.
• Advanced accounting and financial statement analysis skills.
• Proficiency in building computer generated financial models.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and validate data on quality growth companies using internal and external sources.
• Assist senior Research Analysts in defining objectives and approaches for research projects and studies.
• Build/update financial models and conduct security analyses.
