Job summary

Tandem Search, a leading global upper-middle market M&A boutique, is seeking an Associate II or III to join its Industrials team in New York. The role targets execution of cross-border transactions with deals often above $500 million, offering exposure to senior bankers and a fast-paced deal flow.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of investment banking experience, strong modeling skills (LBO, DCF, merger models), and a collaborative, no-ego culture. A full year bonus for 2026/2027 is available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking.
• Strong technical skillset (LBO, DCF, merger models).
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
• Industrials experience is beneficial, especially Business Services.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions, including financial modelling and valuation.
• Prepare client materials (pitchbooks, CIMs, board presentations).
• Manage diligence processes and coordinate with clients and counterparties.
