Job summary

Valeo in Seymour, TN seeks a Process/Manufacturing Engineer to industrialize headlamp or tail lamp products from award to start of production. You will lead three project phases with CAD/R&D, equipment builders, and the manufacturing team to ensure manufacturability, validation, and a successful on-site launch.

The role requires a B.E. and at least four years of embedded process or assembly experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years experience in embedded process and/or assembly, preferably in the automotive industry or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of overall equipment development process from specification to industrialization and validation.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize the product from award to start of production.
• Phase 1: design for manufacturability with CAD designers and R&D.
• Phase 2: supervise equipment build and validation with the equipment builder.
• Phase 3: bring equipment on site and launch, train manufacturing teams and achieve KPIs.
