Job summary

Olin Corporation in Charleston, TN is seeking a Welder to inspect, repair, install and maintain plant equipment with secondary Millwright duties at a chemical plant. You will weld carbon steel and alloys, read prints, and work with CMMS to document maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates have pipe welding experience or an associated welding degree, ability to pass physical and drug tests, and readiness for overtime. We offer a starting hourly rate with growth through experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years continuous pipe welding experience OR an Associate of Applied Science in welding.
• Ability to pass a functional physical and background check; TWIC in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric- and acetylene-welding equipment on carbon steel and alloys.
• Repair, replace, install and adjust piping, valves and fittings.
• Maintain pumps, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.
• Read prints to fabricate/repair pipe and structures.
• Comply with PPE and safety protocols; perform maintenance reports.
