Job summary

Beltways is seeking a skilled full-stack engineer to join its hardware + software startup in Hebron, Kentucky. You will build web applications using React/Next.js and Node.js, shipping production features from UI to APIs, and creating dashboards for industrial control and telemetry.

You will integrate with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, apply cybersecurity best practices, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment. Relocation assistance and stock options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related major.
• Reliable commute to headquarters in Hebron, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications using React and Node.js.
• Create operator dashboards and interfaces for industrial control/monitoring systems.
• Develop APIs and real-time applications to support Beltways OS.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Integrate with industrial automation systems (PLC/HMI/SCADA) to acquire telemetry.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and engineering standards.
• Document technical work for handoffs and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced hardware+software startup environment.
