Job summary

HMS Networks is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software for HMIs, protocol converters, and edge devices in industrial environments. You will work on real-time data visualization, remote monitoring, and secure communication, collaborating across software, hardware, and cloud teams.

The ideal candidate has strong front- and back-end development, embedded systems knowledge, and a passion for high-performance industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-end and back-end web development for HMIs and dashboards.
• Strong background in Python and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux and hardware interfaces.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols is a plus (Modbus, DNP3).
• Team collaboration and code reviews are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for HMIs, protocol converters, and edge devices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and hardware teams on solutions.
• Implement real-time data visualization, remote monitoring, and secure comms.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in reviews and debugging.
• Explore new technologies and produce concepts and PoCs.
