Job summary

Beltways in Hebron, KY is seeking a technically driven intern to join our engineering team. You will help build dashboards and control panels using Next.js, React, and Tailwind, and you will write backend APIs and real-time services with Node.js and WebSockets.

You will manage MongoDB and InfluxDB, connect to PLCs via ADS for motion and telemetry data, and contribute to data analytics. This role emphasizes initiative, communication, and hands-on learning in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related major.
• Reliably commute to the headquarters in Hebron, Kentucky.
• Ubuntu Linux - Comfortable working in a Linux dev environment.
• Python - Can write clean scripts and use common data libraries.
• Java - Read/write basic Java code and OO fundamentals.
• React - Build and modify UI components and manage state.
• Node.js / Next.js - Build basic APIs and full-stack features.

Responsibilities

• Building dashboards and control panels using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Writing backend APIs and real-time services with Node.js and WebSockets.
