Job summary

Woodard & Curran Inc. seeks a dynamic Professional Engineer to join our Water Team as a Technical Manager in the Industrial Water Practice. You will lead technical delivery across the U.S. and mentor staff while developing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.

The role emphasizes leadership in pharmaceutical/chemical, food & beverage, and data center markets, with a nationwide remote‑friendly setup and travel up to 25% within the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Engineering; P.E. or advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of professional experience with an engineering firm.
• Experience serving industrial clients and strong safety commitment.
• Background in biological wastewater treatment and design.
• Industrial client engineering/design-build expertise in target markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication; track record of publishing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to staff in the Industrial Water/Wastewater Practice.
• Grow and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business.
• Lead proposal development and pursue new client opportunities.
• Contribute to large account development and national publications.
• Develop and lead tools demonstrating the firm’s technical leadership.
• Mentor staff and ensure high-quality deliverables.
