Job summary
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our National Industrial Water Team. You will support planning, design, and construction for private/industrial water clients, including data centers, manufacturing, power, and mining sectors.
Location is flexible with teleworking opportunities. You will lead projects as a process engineer or discipline lead, collaborate with a global team, and mentor junior engineers while growing your career within a supportive
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineer license (PE or EIT).
- At least 5 years of consulting experience with industrial water and wastewater clients.
- Experience delivering industrial and municipal planning and design projects.
- Understanding of process mechanical designs and water/wastewater unit processes and technologies.
- Experience developing mass balances, process flow diagrams, and P&ID.
- Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design and construction projects for industrial water clients.
- Support municipal and industrial water projects with career growth opportunities.
- Serve as process engineer, discipline lead or task lead on projects.
- Collaborate with local and global technologists to deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reports.
