Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Water Blaster for the 3rd Weekend shift (12-hour days: Friday-Sunday) in East Liberty, OH. The role involves high-pressure water blasting and general cleaning in manufacturing environments, while following MPW safety standards and customer expectations.

You will contribute to safe, efficient operations by cleaning, maintaining equipment, and assisting with training. A high school diploma is preferred, with manufacturing experience helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education accepted.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial water blasting and cleaning in a safe, efficient, productive manner.
• Clean production floors, equipment, and work areas as assigned.
• Remove residue from underneath manufacturing equipment and surrounding areas.
• Perform detailed cleaning of paint booths, ovens, and other production equipment.
• Set up water blasting equipment and change nozzles/guns as required.
• Perform routine maintenance on water blasting equipment according to schedules.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and break areas.
• Assist with on-the-job training of new employees.
• Complete tasks within established timeframes while meeting quality expectations.
