Qualifications

• Requires graduation from high school or equivalent GED.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain Grade I Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification within 1 year.
• Preferred: Grade I Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventive maintenance such as greasing moving parts, oil changes, and inspections.
• Repairs pumps, motors, wiring, belts, and related plant equipment.
• Operates and maintains plant equipment and assists with operation when needed.
• Maintains detailed records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Ensures safe work practices in high-stress environmental conditions.
