Job summary

Nikon SLM Solutions seeks a Shipping and Warehouse Manager to lead daily Goods In, receiving, storage, and outbound shipping across U.S. operations. You will work with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate, on-time material flow and strong inventory control.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in an industrial manufacturing setting, safety, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years in warehouse, shipping, logistics or materials management.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems and accurate inventory transactions.
• Strong inventory-control skills, cycle counting, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigation.
• Experience coordinating domestic shipments with carriers and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Goods In, receiving, warehouse, material handling, and outbound shipping operations.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation.
• Ensure materials are identified, documented, labeled, and routed for inspection or storage.
• Coordinate with Quality and Supply Chain on damaged or nonconforming materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ERP transactions; support inventory counts and discrepancies.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Develop efficient warehouse layouts, locations, labeling, and traceability.
