Singer Industrial Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Belle Chasse, LA location. This full-time role supports daily warehouse operations, handling, storing, and moving industrial and marine products with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You will load/unload, pick/pack, and maintain inventory accuracy while operating forklifts and related equipment. A strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in an industrial or marine setting is preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift operation certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks containing industrial and marine products, supplies, and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Organize inventory and ensure proper labeling and placement of products.
• Assist with routine inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
