Qualifications

• 3 years' experience with building/ assembly valves in a shop or outage environment.
• Familiar with tools and machinery required to perform daily valve repair duties.
• Experience with repairing various valves and actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and handle measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Overhauls include opening and inspecting valves, reassembly with lapping and testing.
• Calibrates and documents testing and repairs according to procedures.
• Follows schematics and documented procedures per applicable standards.
• Performs maintenance and repairs on various valve types.
• Occasionally lifts up to 75 lbs and stands/walks for extended shifts.
• Occasionally climbs ladders up to 25 feet and works in confined spaces.
