Qualifications

• Three years industrial air operated valve repair experience.
• Familiar with tools and machinery required for daily valve repair duties.
• Experience repairing various valves and actuators (pneumatic/hydraulic/electric).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Removal, inspections, refurbishment and reinstallation of valve actuators of various sizes and types.
• Inspections and documentation of findings using site procedures.
• Repair and rebuilding of air operated valve internals.
• Determine necessity of replacing parts and set actuator bench and stroke.
• Air supply regulator, limit switch, booster adjustments and rebuilds.
• Solenoid air valve replacements.
