Job summary

Ferguson in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Industrial Category Sales Specialist for our Southwest District. You will support and grow Valve and Automation products by partnering with the sales team and vendors to deliver the right solutions to industrial customers.

Responsibilities include prospecting new business, managing relationships with existing customers, presenting quotes to engineering offices, and developing relationships with key vendors to support sales in your market.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are required.
Attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new Valve Automation business at industrial end users.
Manage relationships with existing customers and grow sales in Valve Automation.
Provide feedback to sales leadership on trends and product performance.
Support outside sales for Valve Automation and other engineered products.
Interact with key vendors to support sales in the market.
Collaborate with inside sales and valve technicians; grow others.
Present Valve Automation quotes and proposals to customers & engineering offices.
Develop and manage relationships with engineering offices driving product specification.
