Job summary
Vantive is seeking a Utility Tech responsible for providing technical and troubleshooting support, maintenance, and repairs to facility equipment to meet production schedules. The role involves preventive maintenance, interfacing with Boilers and related systems, and maintaining safety standards.
The candidate will work in a manufacturing environment in Arkansas, with opportunities to grow boiler-related skills and obtain licensure.
Qualifications
- Minimum HS diploma or GED equivalent; AA degree or related training preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, facility maintenance, industrial setting.
- Strong electrical/electronic knowledge and mechanical repair skills; boiler-related experience a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints is beneficial; good documentation and communication skills are essential.
- Able to work with limited supervision and under stressful conditions; safety training emphasized.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment availability.
- Troubleshoot and repair Boilers, Plumbing, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
- Maintain safe work practices; comply with Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Monitor water chemical treatment and maintain equipment uptime.
- Complete Arkansas State Boiler license training and certification.
