Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Operator I to manage multiple unit processes in an industrial facility, including wastewater treatment, boilers, filtration, and related support equipment. You will perform routine operations, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements under safety policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related experience; hands-on mechanical, electrical, and PLC skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related industrial operations, mechanical maintenance, electrical/instrumentation or PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment manually and via instrumentation, monitors conditions, records data, and diagnoses basic issues.
• Adheres to safety practices; manages chemical deliveries, sampling, testing, and waste handling as required.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and supports process control improvements.
