Job summary

Turbine, Pump & Compressor LLC in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Turbine Mechanic to join our shop team. The role involves hands-on disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of industrial steam turbines and related rotating equipment in a fast-paced repair environment.

You will measure clearances with micrometers and dial indicators, read drawings and specs, and determine repairs or replacements. Occasional field work and overtime may be required, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on turbine experience (steam or gas).
• Ability to read drawings, manuals, and work scopes.
• Willingness to support field work and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble turbines and related rotating equipment
• Measure and document clearances and dimensions with precision tools
• Identify worn or out-of-tolerance components and recommend repair or replacement
• Perform bearing, seal, packing, and rotor work to standards
• Support field service work on-site when needed
• Follow safety, quality processes, and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, shop leads, and QA/QC to meet schedules
