Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking skilled industrial mechanics to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, and related equipment in a shop environment. You will work with a cross-functional team including engineers and project managers to ensure quality and safety in every job.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, 3+ years in industrial mechanical repairs, and experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Proven ability to interpret work instructions and manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to read scales and micrometers.
• Willingness to work overtime based on client schedules.
• Minimum 3 years experience in industrial mechanical repairs and rigging.
• Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble steam turbines, compressors and related equipment.
• Work with a team of mechanics, machinists, weld technicians, inspectors, engineers and PMs.
• Follow safety, quality and shop routers and document findings.
• Utilize precision measurement tools to inspect components.
• Collaborate with repair engineers and project managers throughout jobs.
