Job summary

Equipment Depot in Fort Worth is seeking a skilled shop technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform inspections, document repairs, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with the service team to keep units in service.

Strong mechanical aptitude, HS diploma, 1 year experience, and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related mechanical experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Accepts assigned work orders from Service Dispatcher, Planner and Manager to begin diagnosing and planning repairs.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis of breakdown.
• Document repair descriptions with correct model, serial number, and hour meter readings.
• Inspect safety devices and adjust as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify repairs meet specifications.
• Prepare and submit all paperwork (time cards, work orders) daily.
• Provide guidance to technicians and assist in repairs when necessary.
• Ensure customer communication about job status and service progress.
