Job summary

Equipment Depot in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and batteries, and to service construction and aerial equipment.

You will diagnose from work orders, perform mechanical repairs after inspection, document repairs with correct model and serial numbers, communicate status to customers, and ensure safety checks and final quality before units return to service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year mechanical experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Proficient in basic math and measurement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Computer skills with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accepts work orders and plans repairs.
• Performs mechanical repairs after inspection.
• Documents repair descriptions with model and serial numbers.
• Checks safety devices and makes adjustments.
• Lubricates moving parts and verifies repairs.
• Turns in required paperwork and provides quotes.
• Communicates status to customers during service.
• Ensures final safety and quality before return to service.
